Abstract: One novel binucear manganese(Ⅱ) complex Mn2(phen)2·(o-ABA)4·(H2O)2 with o-acetamidobenzoic acid (o-ABA) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) has been synthesized and characterized. Crystal data for this complex: monoclinic, space group P21/c, a=0.802 26(16) nm, b=2.618 6(5) nm, c=1.281 6(3) nm, β=95.83(3)°, V=2.678 5(9) nm3, Dc=1.511 g·cm-3, Z=2, F(000)=1 260, Final GooF=1.084, R1=0.057 8, wR2=0.118 9. The crystal structure shows that two neighboring manganese(Ⅱ) ions are linked together by two bridging o-acetamidobenzoic acid, forming a cage structure. The Mn(1)…Mn(1A) bond distance is 0.342 3 nm. Each manganese(Ⅱ) ion is coordinated with two nitrogen atoms of one 1,10-phenanthroline molecule and four oxygen atoms from three o-acetamidobenzoic acid radicals and one water molecule, forming distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The result of TG analysis shows that the title complex was stable under 190.0 ℃。CCDC: 741934. |
