Abstract: Pure Ca0.61Nd0.26TiO3 powder was prepared by molten salt method at temperature ranging from 600 ℃ to 900 ℃, using CaCO3,TiO2 and Nd2O3 as raw materials and a mixture of KOH and KNO3 as the flux. The results reveal that the morphology and the microstructure of Ca0.61Nd0.26TiO3 are related to the calcination temperature, salt content(S, the mass ratio of reactant to salt) and the constitution of salt(R, the mass ratio of KNO3 to KOH). The S and R affect the formation temperature of Ca0.61Nd0.26TiO3. When S=1/2 and R=15, pure Ca0.61Nd0.26TiO3 is successfully prepared at 600 ℃. The process for growing of Ca0.61Nd0.26TiO3 is controlled by interface reaction, and changes of S and R affect the morphology of Ca0.61Nd0.26TiO3. Ca0.61Nd0.26TiO3 can be sintered densely at 1250 ℃.
