Abstract: The starch-stabilized silver nanoparticles were synthesized in the soluble starch by glucose reduction. Further silver/starch core-shell nanocomposites were synthesized by solvent-effect of ethanol. The scanning electron microscope micrographs showed that the diameter of silver core is about 40 nm and the thickness of starch layer is around 20 nm. The fluorescence of fluorescein was enhanced in the addition of core-shell nanocomposites. |
