摘要: 研究了作为直接甲酸燃料电池(DFAFC)阴极催化剂的炭载Ru(Ru/C)和炭载Ru-Fe(Ru-Fe/C)催化剂对氧还原的电催化性能和抗甲酸能力。发现Ru-Fe/C催化剂对氧还原的电催化活性要远好于Ru/C催化剂。进一步的研究发现,只有与Ru形成合金的Fe才能提高Ru/C催化剂对氧还原的电催化活性。另外,Ru-Fe/C催化剂对甲酸氧化没有电催化活性。因此,Ru-Fe/C催化剂也有很好的抗甲酸能力。所以,Ru-Fe/C催化剂适合作为DFAFC的阴极催化剂。 |

Abstract: The electrocatalytic performances of the Ru/C and Ru-Fe/C catalysts for the oxygen reduction and high formic acid tolerance ability were investigated. It was found that the electrocatalytic activity of the Ru-Fe/C catalyst is much higher than that of the Ru/C catalyst for the oxygen reduction. It was further found that only alloying Fe with Ru can increase the electrocatalytic activity of the Ru/C catalyst for the oxygen reduction. In addition, The Ru-Fe/C catalyst has no electrocatalytic activity for the formic acid oxidation. Thus, the Ru-Fe/C has the high formic acid tolerance ability. Therefore, the Ru-Fe/C catalyst is suitable to be used as cathode catalyst in DFAFC. |
