| Abstract: The crystal of 2D cadmium polymer [Cd(bix)2Cl2]n [bix=1,4-bis(imidazole-1-ylmethyl)-benzene] was obtained in DMF. Its crystal belongs to monoclinic system, space group P21/n, with a=0.779 83(3) nm, b=1.282 74(6) nm, c=1.441 90(6) nm, β=105.642 0(10)°, V=1.388 94(10) nm3, Dc=1.578 g·cm-3, F(000)=668, Z=4, μ(Mo Kα)=1.013 mm-1, and R1=0.023 8, wR2=0.055 4. It possesses a two-dimensional grid-type structure, the Cd(Ⅱ) center is coordinated by four nitrogen atoms from four bix ligands and two Cl atoms to furnish a slightly distorted octahedral geometry. The fluorescence spectra in DMF of the complex and bix ligand were studied. CCDC: 687517. |
