摘要: 采用溶液法合成了一个新的Tutton盐Na2[Co(H2O)6](SO4)2。通过红外光谱和X-射线单晶衍射对其进行了表征。晶体结构分析表明该化合物晶体属单斜晶系,P21/c空间群,晶胞参数:a=0.618 5(2) nm,b=1.233 4(3) nm,c=0.913 7(1) nm,β=105.775(

Abstract: A new Tutton salt, Na2[Co(H2O)6](SO4)2, was prepared and characterized by IR, TG and X-ray diffraction method. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a=0.618 5(2) nm, b=1.233 4(3) nm, c=0.913 7(1) nm, β=105.775(1)°,V=0.670 78(2) nm3, Z=2, F(000)=410, Dc=2.006 g·cm-3, R=0.032 9, wR=0.125 6. Solid powder UV spectrum revealed that the optical transmission character is discontinuous in the range from ultraviolet to visible light wavelengths and demonstrates its high transmission efficiency over a narrow band at 300~450 nm. Thermogravimetric curve and cyclic voltammogram proved this Tutton salt thermal stability and chemical stability. Nickel hydroxide modified by 8wt% Na2[Co(H2O)6](SO4)2 improved electrochemical performances of β-Ni(OH)2 materials by raising the oxidative (and reductive) peak current densities. The results indicated this Tutton salt can be used for ultraviolet light filters or an additive of Ni-H battery. CSD: 419316.
