| Abstract: The extractability and the extraction mechanism of lanthanides(Ⅲ) with N，N′-dimethyl-N，N′-dihexyl-3-oxapentamide(DMDHOPDA) in chloroform from nitric acid solution have been studied. The influence of the concentration of nitric acid and amido podand, and also the temperature on the extraction has been considered. The stoichiometry of the extraction species is M(NO3)3·3DMDHOPDA (M=La, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er). The distribution ratio decreases with the increase in the temperature. The extraction reaction is exothermic. The equilibrium constant and thermal physical constant have been calculated. The IR spectra of extracted species was also studied. |
