Abstract: In this paper, the synthesis and measurement of X-ray crystal structures of [Cd(C5H5N)2(S2CO-n-C4H9)2] and [Cd(S2CO-n-C4H9)2]n were reported. The reaction of [Cd(S2CO-n-C4H9)2]n with pyridine destroyed the original polymeric structure to and yielded the bis-(lewis bases) adduct. The crystals belong to monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c. The cell dimensions of [Cd(C5H5N)2(S2CO-n-C4H9)2] are a=1.1094(12), b=0.6152(6), c=1.7985(19)nm, β=96.148(2)°, V=1.2204(2)nm3. The structure was refined to R1=0.0246 and wR2=0.0645. The complex has a centro-symmetric molecule structure. The cell dimensions of [Cd(S2CO-n-C4H9)2]n are a=2.5649(4), b=0.5810(7), c=1.1348(41)nm, β=101.701(2)°, V=1.6566(3)nm3. The structure was refined to R1=0.0711 and wR2=0.1755. |
