| Abstract: Many kinds of modified cyclodextrin s(CDs )bearing the functions such as cataly tic ac-tivity,membrane permeability and molecular recognition sensor,have b een synthesized and inves-tigated.In order to further realize a supramolecular recognition syste m and develop new functional mateials based on cyclodxtrins and a mino acids or peptides,we have desig ned and synthesized a series of CD-amino acid conjugates a nd investigated their affinity towa rds small peptide molecules.This paper summarized recent progre sses on the synthesis and molecular r ecognition of amino acid-or peptide-cyclodextrin conjugates a nd discussed the inclusion behaviou r or self-assembly of cyclodex-trins and their derivatives with som e guests such as amino acids or peptid es. |
