| Abstract: L uminescence propertiesof Eu2+and effectofdoped concentration on luminescenceof Eu2+ are reported. A new phenomemon of energy transfer from Eu2+ to Tb3+ in KCaF3 was observed. Valence stability of Eu2+ in KCaF3 is considered by susceptibility method and spectral analysis. The results show that though valence of Eu2+ in KCaF3 is stable,Eu2+ ions easily change into Eu3+ in KCaF3 in the presence of minimal water. |
