| Abstract: With Bonding Energy Criterion and EHMO method, a theoretical study of the chemisorption and reaction of CO/H on Ru/ SiO2 and Pt/ SiO2 has been carried out.The bonding energy Eb(i)of MO and Eb(AB)between atoms have been obtained. CO adsorption strength and hydrogcnization activity on these catalysts have been clucidated theoretically on the basis of Eb(i)and Eb(AB). |
