| Abstract: In this paper. Laser Raman Spectra of fine crystal and aqueous solution of chloropinnoite,pinnoite, borax and bone acid have been studied. The results showed that the Raman spectra of chloropinnoite. is similar to that of pinnoite. It is suggested that both crystals of chloropinnoite and pinnoite contain the same polyborate ion [B2O(OH)6]2-, and there exists different polyborate ions such as [B(OH)4]-, [B2O(OH)6]2-, [B3O3(OH)4]- and [B4O5(OH)4]2-in the aqueous solution of chloropinnoite. |
