| Abstract: Eight pure isomers of the formula (NH4)17 Ln(α2-P2W17O61)2·xH2O(Ln3+=La,Ce,Pr,Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd,or Dy) were synthesized and characterized by 31P NMR,IR and UV-Vis spcctroscopy,polarography,cyclic voltammetry and their magnetic moments.The properties of α1,α2 and β isomers were compared.The ionic character of the Ln-O bonds in the α2-isomer is stronger than that in the α1-isomer. |
