Abstract: The complex UO2[CH2(CH2)4CONC2H5](NO3)2 has been prepared in organic solvent and characterized by microanalysis,molar conductance,TG-DTG as well as UV and IR spectra.The molecular and crystal structure of the complex has been determined by fourcircle X-ray diffractomcter.The crystal belongs to space group P1 of triclinic system.Its crystal cell parameters are a=7.171(2),b=8.655(3),c=10.182(5)Å,α=78.27(3),β=70.63(3),γ=81.76(3)°,V=581.7(4)Å3,Z= 1,Dc= 1.94g·cm-3.R=0.0218 for 2286 unique reflections [I> 1.5(δ(I0)].The molecular structure consists of a uranium atom coordinated to eight oxygen atoms and with them form approximately a hexagonal bipyramid coordinating polyhedron. |
