| Abstract: Complexes of cobalt(Ⅱ), nickel(Ⅱ), coppcr(Ⅱ), zinc(Ⅱ) and cadmium(Ⅱ) with vanillin isonicotinoyl hydrazone and o-vanillin isonicotinoyl hydrazonc have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra, molar conductance, magnetic measurements, electronic absorption spectra, powder X-ray diffraction and differential thermal analyses. The bonding and stereochemistry of the complexes arc discussed. |
