| Abstract: Under high pressure definition and measurement of volume of activation for chemical reactions in solutions are reviewed. The volumes of activation may be used to diagnose the mechanisms of substitution reactions and isomerization reactions and electron transfer reactions and photochemical reactions of coordination compounds. |
