| Abstract: The complex trans-[Pd2(DEHSO)2Cl14] (DEHSO-di(2-ethylhexyl sulfoxide) has been prepared by extraction method and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, differentialthermal and thermogravimetric analysis as well as UV and IR spectra.It is a dinuclear complex, space group P21 / c, a= 13.029(5)Å, b=13.365(5)Å, c=13.008(2)Å, β=102.55(2)°,V= 2211(1)Å3, Z = 2, Dc=1.316g·cm-3, bond lengths of Pd-S and Pd-Cl, distance of Pd-Pd, bond angles of Cl-Pd-Cl and Cl-Pd-S have been determined by four-circle X-ray diffractometer. |
