| Abstract: The reaction of trans-PtHCl(PPh2)2(Ⅰ)with PhNCS has been studied. When (Ⅰ) and PhNCS were in benzene under reflux, elimination of hydrogen chloride of (Ⅰ) occured.In the meantime PhNCS was disproportio-nated to form dithiocarbonimidato platinum complexes.Trans-PtHCl(PCy3)2 didn't react with PhNCS under the same conditions and increased reaction time. The possible reaction mechanism is proposed.The reaction of (Ⅰ) with PhNCS is different from those of the hydrides of Ru, Os, Tr in group Ⅶ. The insertion products can be obtained by the later. |
