| Abstract: Nine iron-containing rare earth compounds LnFe(CN)2(CONH2)4 (Ln = Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb) are synthesized, their composition and structure have been characterized by elemental analysis and IR spectra. The 87Fe MSssbauer spectra of these compounds indicate that the iron atom is in lower-spin trivalent state and there exists electron-transfer effect from the iron atom to the rare earth in the compounds. | |||||||||
