LINEAR ENTHALPY RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN HEAT OF FORMATION OF COMPLEX COMPOUNDS AND HEAT OF PROTONATION OF LIGANDS——II. COPPER(II) -2,2, -BIPYRIDYL-AMINOACIDS TERNARY SYSTEM |

摘要: 使用RD—1型热导式自动量热计测定了四个α-氨基酸酸根的质子化热及其与Cu(Ⅱ(—2.2'-联吡啶生成配合物的生成热,用量热法从实验上验证了三元配合物的生成热与配位体的质子之间也存在着如下的直线焓关系式:ΔHM=Q-βΔHL,式中ΔH_M为配合物的生成热,ΔHL为配位体的质子化热,Q与β为常数,还计算了配合物的生成焓与配位体的质子化熵,结果表明在三元配合物的生成焓与配位体的质子化熵之间也存在有线性关系,但由于脯氨酸分子中的五元环的影响,相关系数较差。 |

Abstract: The heats of formation of the ternary complex compounds formed from Cu (II) with 2,2'-bipyridyl and four a-aminoacids (1-proline,1-valine,1-threonine,d,l-a-amino-isobutyric acid) and the heats of protonation of these aminoacids have been determined by Model RD-1 conduction automatic calorimeter at 25℃ and I=0.1M ( NaClO4) in aqueous solution. Linear enthalpy relationships were found to exist between the heats of formation of the ternary complex compounds and the heats of protonation of the a-amino-acids,which conform to the following equation:ΔHM=Q-βΔHL where ΔHMdenotes the heat of formation of complex compound,ΔHL denotes the heat of protonation of the ligand,and Q and β are constants. In addition,linear entropy relationship was also found to exist between the entropy of formation of the mixed ligand complex and the entropy of protonation of the secondary ligand. Deviation of proline from linearity might be due to steric effect exhibited by its five-membered ring structure. |
